Where can I find out about the current status of the investigations?
The responsibility for ordering a forensic post-mortem examination of the deceased lies with the public prosecutor’s office responsible for the case. The entire investigation is subject to official secrecy. The doctors at the IRM-UZH involved in the case may therefore only provide information after consulting the relevant public prosecutor. If the public prosecutor agrees that we may inform the next of kin about the current status of the investigations, we will be able to provide you with information.
