When is the Mobile Forensic Nurses Service appropriate?

The Mobile Forensic Nurses Service is appropriate if you have experienced sexual or domestic violence and do not yet wish to file a police report, but would like a confidential forensic medical examination, injury documentation or evidence collection.

The specially trained nursing professionals can be called in at hospitals or suitable outpatient institutions. They document injuries, collect evidence and provide information about further support options.

The service is intended for people of all ages and genders affected by sexual or domestic violence. If you already know that you wish to file a police report, contact the police directly. The police will then coordinate the next steps.
