mRNA profiling zur Bestimmung der Spurenart

Körpersekrete werden herkömmlich mit enzymatischen und immunologischen Vortests nachgewiesen, die zum Teil unspezifisch sind. Mittels mRNA profiling wird die Expression sekretspezifischer Proteine nachgewiesen. Innerhalb der EDNAP Gruppe (European DNA profiling group) wurden mRNA Marker für Blut, Speichel, Sperma, Vaginalsekret, Menstrualblut und Haut getestet. Mittels Hochdurchsatzsequenzierung suchen wir innerhalb der mRNA-Transkripte nach Sequenzvarianten, die es erlauben das Sekret dem Spurengeber zuzuordnen.
